Answer: Capital receipts: A capital receipt tends to be of a
non-continuing nature. Thus, the sale of a fixed asset or shares in a business
arises on only an occasional basis. One exception is when shares are sold on an
ongoing subscription basis.
Another way of looking at capital
receipts is that they are not generated by the sales of goods or services in
the ordinary course of business. Thus, they do not arise from the operating
activities of a business.

Answer: Service tax: Service Tax is a tax imposed by Government of India on
services provided in India. The service provider collects the tax and pays the
same to the government. It is charged on all services except the services
