The history of
computer development is often referred to in reference to the different
generations of computing devices. Each of the five generations of computers is
characterized by a major technological development that fundamentally changed
the way computers operate.

Determine the decimal equivalent of the given number (34.51)8

Decimal to octal conversion formula :
To convert
integer decimals to octal, divide the original number by the largest possible
power of 8 and successively divide the remainders by successively smaller
powers of 8 until the power is 1. The octal representation is formed by the
quotients, written in the order generated by the algorithm. It is one of the
most commonly explained problems in computer basics.
