Answer: The concept of management has acquired special significance in the present competitive and complex business world. Efficient and purposeful management is absolutely essential for the survival of a business unit. Management concept is comprehensive and covers all aspects of business. In simple words, management means utilising available resources in the best possible manner and also for achieving well defined objectives. It is a distinct and dynamic process involving use of different resources for achieving well defined objectives. The resources are: men, money, materials, machines, methods and markets. Q. 2.       Examine the different dimensions of planning with respect to planning features, its importance, strategies and policies.

Answer:When we look at businesses holistically, there are four distinct dimensions that account for every decision and action.

The four dimensions are:

Strategy:Whom does your business serve? What are its core competencies and how will you leverage them? What are your business’s goals for the year? What is your business’s vision and mission? What offers are you going to develop this year?




Q. 3.       What are the principles of an organization? Explain its elements, nature, dynamics and types.
                                                                                                                                            
Answer:Principles of organization

1. Principle of unity of objectives: Organizational goals, departmental goals, and individual goals must be clearly defined. All goals and objectives must have uniformity.

2. Principle of specialization:  Sound and effective organization believes on organization. The term specialization is related to work and employees. When an employee takes special type of knowledge and skill in any area, it is known as specialization.

3. Principle of coordination: In an organization many equipment, tools are used. Coordination can be obtained by group effort that emphasize on unity of action. Therefore, coordination facilitates in several management concepts
