1.      What is Organizational Behavior? Explain.
Answer; Organizational behavior studies the impact individuals, groups, and structures have on human behavior within organizations. It is an interdisciplinary field that includes sociology, psychology, communication, and management. Organizational behavior complements organizational theory, which focuses on organizational and intra-organizational topics, and complements human-resource studies, which is more focused on everyday business practices.

2.      Explain the different behavioral and situational leadership theories?
Answer: Trait theories and behavioural theories of leadership are two of the main historical theories developed in the quest to define what good leadership is.
The earliest of modern theories was the trait theory of leadership which sought to look beyond the idea of leaders simply as exceptional individuals by characterising the general qualities exhibited by successful leaders.

3.      What are the different theories of motivation? Explain the role of motivation in management.

Answer: The perceptual process allows us to experience the world around us. Take a moment to think of all the things you perceive on a daily basis. At any given moment, you might see familiar objects in your environment, feel the touch of objects and people against your skin, smell the aroma of a home-cooked meal and hear the sound of music playing in your next door neighbor's apartment. All of these things help make up our conscious experience and allow us to interact with the people and objects around us. Perception is our sensory experience of the world




6.            What are the Contemporary theories of motivation?

Answer:These are referred to as contemporary theories because these theories are able to more appropriately explain the phenomenon of the motivation in the contemporary organizations. There are eight theories in this regard.
1.       ERG Theory: It has been developed by Clayton Alderfer. He has developed his theory while modifying Maslow’s theory. Thus, he has used the concept of ‘Need’ in his theory. Managers must understand that an employee has various needs that must be satisfied at the same time.
