Question. 3. What is motivation? Describe different motivational techniques for motivating the office staff in a healthcare institution. Which theory of motivation will you apply and why?

Answer: Often, people confuse the idea of 'happy' employees with 'motivated' employees. These may be related, but motivation actually describes the level of desire employees feel to perform, regardless of the level of happiness. Employees who are adequately motivated to perform will be more productive, more engaged and feel more invested in their work. When employees feel these things, it helps them, and thereby their managers, be more successful.



Question. 4. Define Organizational Behaviour. What is relevance of management and Organizational behavior to healthcare institutions?

Answer: Decisions about patient care are often made by a team, rather than by a single individual. To maintain open communication and better coordination, as well as avoiding possible conflicts, one must rely on the role of leaders to motivate the team to achieve the organization goal. It was found that encouragement and support by leaders, their trust and clear vision, their consistent behavior in this regard and their ability to convince subordinates to acknowledge their vision, can all influence employee job satisfaction.
