Q1) Explain the relationship between policy making &
decision-making ? (20)
Answer : A policy is a deliberate
system of principles to guide decisions and achieve rational outcomes. A policy
is a statement of intent, and is implemented as a procedure or protocol.
Policies are generally adopted by the Board of or senior governance body within
an organization whereas procedures or protocols would be developed and adopted
by senior executive officers. Policies can assist in both subjective and
objective decision making. Policies to assist in subjective decision making
would usually assist senior management with decisions that must consider the
relative merits of a number of factors before making decisions and as a result
are often hard to objectively test e.g. work-life balance policy. In contrast
policies to assist in objective decision making are usually operational in
nature and can be objectively tested e.g. password policy.
Q2) Define the term Organisation charting ? (20
Answer : An organizational chart (often called organization chart, org chart,
organigram(me), or organogram) is a diagram that shows the structure of an
organization and the relationships and relative ranks of its parts and
positions/jobs. The term is also used for similar diagrams, for example ones showing
the different elements of a field of knowledge or a group of languages.
An organizational chart shows the internal structure and hierarchies
of an organization, like a business, school, or government entity. It creates
an easy visual depiction for the ranks of different people, jobs, and
departments that make up the organization. Orgizational charts also help
determine how authority and information flow between people and departments.
Like flowcharts, org charts use
simple shapes and lines. The boxes are filled with information on the
individual, department, or team; while vertical

the localized idiosyncracies. a general structural rigid principled approach

mistakes and making further amendments can be effective in real practice. a
larger developmental function that requires high discretion in functioning can

Q4) What do you mean the term Health Management Planning?. (20)
Answer : Health - a relative state in which one is able to function well
physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually in order to express the full
range of one's unique potentialities within the environment in which one is
living. In the words of René Dubos, “health
is primarily a measure of each person's ability to do and become what he wants
to become.”
Current views of health and
illness recognize health as more than the absence of disease. Realizing that
humans are dynamic beings whose state of health can change from day to day or
even from hour to hour, leaders in the health field suggest that it is better
to think of each person as being located on a graduated scale or continuous
spectrum (continuum) ranging from obvious dire illness through the absence of
discernible disease to a state of
